What Are Your Intentions for Spring?
Happy April!
I am grateful for a new month and the start of spring. I love any chance to slow down, reflect, and set intentions for myself so this weekend's full moon and today's fresh month have been a great chance to do that! Journaling, meditation, "moon" baths, and pulling cards from my various decks are some of the rituals I like to do and I wanted to share a bit about what they brought up for me this week!
The overall message I received was that we are being supported to quiet and detach from the fearful mind right now to walk towards what lights us up. It's been a long winter (year) where we have had, and continue, to weather many internal and external storms. But there is a light on the other side of each battle we are fighting or each darkness we are facing. We have begun to see and feel our resilience during this winter. How strong we are, showing up even when it's hard. Because it's been hard. But it feels like it's time to let go of some of the internal struggles that have been weighing us down this year.
While there is much darkness still out there, and so much work still to do, we also deserve to rest, play, and find joy where we can. Spring is a new beginning to explore our passions and feel into our purpose. Let these "buds" blossom and flower, bringing more color, creativity, and exploration into your life. Sometimes I feel I need permission to go towards the joy, to rest, to play--so in case you are like me, consider this a permission slip.
